Service · Flat-pack and home fitting
The Saturday-afternoon list. Flat-pack furniture assembled properly, wall-mount jobs done into the right fixings, and the small-scale fittings that most people do themselves and half-do.
Regency lath-and-plaster. Original upper-floor internal walls on the West Cliff Regency stock are lath-and-plaster - not stud, not modern plasterboard. Standard plasterboard fixings won't hold in it. We use toggle-back fittings or find the stud behind the lath run.
Chalk-block masonry. Some of the older cellar and lower-floor walls in Ramsgate are chalk block behind the render. Standard masonry plugs don't take. We use resin anchors for anything load-bearing on chalk substrate.
Modern-build stud walls. The mid-C20th and later estate stock around Nethercourt and Newington is straightforward stud-and-plasterboard - standard fittings, load-rated, done in an hour.
A double wardrobe is a half-day. A TV mount is an hour. A curtain-pole run in three rooms is a half-day. A large gallery-wall picture-hang is a half-day.
£60 to £100 for a single wall-mount or short flat-pack. £120 to £180 for a half-day list. £220 to £320 for a full-day list including materials.
