Service · Small roof jobs
The tile-off-in-a-storm and small-leak jobs that most roofers won't touch because they're too small to be worth a scaffold booking. If it's a full re-roof or a valley re-lead, we point you at a proper roofer. If it's a tile, a ridge or a flashing patch, we handle it.
Storm-lifted tiles. Ramsgate's easterlies in a bad winter lift tiles on any elevation facing the sea. The classic call is the day after - one or two tiles down on the front, whole roof otherwise sound. It's a two-hour job.
Chimney flashing. Regency chimneys on the West Cliff have lead flashings that were fitted decades ago. When they lift, water tracks into the top storey. We can patch and re-seal for another five to eight years - past that it's a full re-lead.
What we won't do. Full re-roofs, valley re-lead, tile-batten renewal, anything requiring scaffolding for more than a day. Those go to a full roofing contractor and we'll tell you which one we'd use.
A slipped-tile call is a half-day including ladder set-up. Ridge and flashing work runs to a full day. Leak trace is a half-day. We don't work at height in wind above 25mph.
£120 to £250 for a slipped tile replacement. £180 to £350 for a short ridge repair. £220 to £450 for flashing patch. Storm-sheeting emergency £120 to £180.
