Service · Small electrical jobs
Light fittings swapped, faceplates changed, sockets moved short-distance, fuses replaced, a visual consumer-unit check. Anything that needs a Part P certificate or Building Control notification is a job for a NICEIC or Napit-registered electrician - not us.
Old-stock consumer units. Rewireable-fuse boards from the sixties and seventies still exist in Ramsgate rental stock. We flag them - they're not code-compliant to modern standards and they're a landlord EICR fail. That's a sparky replacement, not us.
Bathroom extractors. The salt-air kills bathroom extractor fans faster than inland. A five-year replacement cycle is normal here. We spec IP-rated units with humidity trigger.
Where we hand off. New circuits, consumer-unit replacement, EICR certification, EV charger install, kitchen or bathroom rewire. All Part P notifiable, all go to a qualified electrician.
Fittings swaps are hour-slot jobs, booked in half-day blocks. Extractor-fan replacement is a half-day.
£70 to £120 for a single fitting or socket swap. £120 to £180 for a booked half-day with a list. £150 to £220 for extractor-fan replacement including unit.
